From a Vision to a Centre of Excellence

The journey of CMA Kickboxing Academy is a story of vision, dedication, perseverance, and a strong commitment to the future of our children.

In the early days of our kickboxing journey, we trained children at various sports grounds across the district and within school premises. Although the enthusiasm of our young athletes was remarkable, conducting regular training sessions with proper equipment, facilities, and a structured training setup was a constant challenge.

We understood that if our children were to excel at district, state, national, and international levels, they needed more than just coaching. They needed a dedicated training centre equipped with the right facilities, equipment, and a professional learning environment.

Recognising this need, our respected founder, Mr. Tarkesh Mishra, the pioneer of kickboxing sport in Chhattisgarh, envisioned a well-equipped and professionally organised kickboxing and martial arts training centre. With determination, foresight, and a deep commitment to the development of young athletes, he transformed this vision into reality.

On 1 February 2018, CMA Kickboxing Academy began its journey as Chhattisgarh's first well-equipped Kickboxing and Martial Arts Training Centre.

Since its inception, I have had the privilege of serving as the Director of this academy and contributing to its growth and development. It has been a journey filled with learning, challenges, dedication, and countless proud moments.

Today, it is a matter of immense pride to see our athletes bringing recognition and honour to Korba and Chhattisgarh through their achievements at district, state, national, and international levels. Their success reflects the collective efforts of our founder, coaches, parents, and every athlete who has worked tirelessly to fulfil their dreams.

At CMA Kickboxing Academy, we believe that sports are not only about winning medals; they are also about building discipline, confidence, physical fitness, self-defence skills, and strong character. Our goal is to provide every child with an opportunity to grow, discover their abilities, and become a confident and responsible individual.

As Director, my commitment is to continue strengthening our training environment, supporting our athletes, and creating opportunities for the next generation of champions.

Our journey began with a vision. Today, that vision continues to inspire hundreds of dreams. Together, we are building a healthier, stronger, and more confident generation through sports.
